Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Venus Riders Watersports Club, due to start on Easter Saturday, 23 April 2011, has been postponed until further notice.

Venus at Blackpool Sands are offering hire for kayaks, stand up paddle boards, wetsuits, boogie boards and gloves/boots by the hour, day or week. Stand up paddleboarding tuition for groups of all ages is also available.

Venus's partner, Discovery Surf School, based at Bigbury on Sea, continue to offer surfing tuition.
