We're helping diners shake off the winter blues with a selection of hearty, seasonal additions to our family classics on the menu.
Much-loved favourites such as the proudly eponymous Venus burger, and line-caught mackerel bap with tomato and buckwheat salad and fries will remain, however diners are now also able to choose from the following additions:
Beef or vegetarian chilli – Inspired by the classic American dish, this tasty chilli is full of warming spices. Choose from grass fed Devon beef with kidney beans, tomatoes, celery, peppers, onions, or go for a vegetable option; packed with lentils, beans, chick peas, carrot, celery, peppers and mushrooms. Both are finished with sour cream and served with tortilla chips.

Creamy fish chowder – Blackpool Sands – Using only sustainable locally caught fish, Cornish milk and cream, garlic, bacon, potato and thyme, served with a chia-seeded loaf
Falafel wrap – This popular vegan and gluten free wrap contains handmade falafels, beetroot, olives, shaved savoy and lime garlic aioli with cos lettuce and vine tomato. Served with a tomato herbed buckwheat salad and tortilla chips.
The winter menus have been designed to suit all appetites, from grab-and-go baps to hunger-busting hearty dishes. Every dish on the menu uses the best produce from the South West larder.
Our Executive Chef Nick Warnes says, “After weeks of development, we’re excited to introduce these winter dishes to the menu that will no doubt quickly become the next crowd-pleasers. We’re always working with our suppliers to ensure our dishes are as fresh as they can possibly be.”
