Dining Area & Decking

For up to 90 guests, our restaurant and covered decking provides you with plenty of space to host your wedding day entertainment – it’s even possible to include a disco with dance floor. The covered decking extends the restaurant area to provide you with the flexibility you need to create your perfect wedding reception.

Marquee

For a truly memorable experience, a marquee at Blackpool Sands will enable you to invite even more friends and family to share your special day. Positioned in the main field, this option guarantees a breathtaking wedding reception by the beach, and allows you to invite up to 150 guests – you could even add a dance floor or live band for entertainment.

The Catering
After finding the perfect location for your wedding reception, the next important element is to ensure that the quality of food and drink can match the spectacular location. This is something that we are confident we can do here at Venus, by using the highest quality, organic, locally-sourced produce available.

Whether you are looking for an informal drinks reception with canapés or a wedding breakfast, we will work with you to create the perfect menu for your wedding, starting at £30 per person. If you have specific catering or dietary requirements such as vegetarian or gluten free, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Venus is fully licensed. An on-site bar is available between 6:30pm and 11:30pm, serving bottled soft drinks, cider, ale and lager.

Please look at our sample wedding menu for an idea of the delicious meal that Venus can provide.

Accommodation
There are lots of options for accommodation for the wedding party or your guests close to Blackpool Sands.  Helpful Holidays offer around 130 star-rated holiday cottages in the South Hams, Leonard's Cove is only a short walk away and Hillfield Cottages & Country House have 28 individually-designed holiday properties available to let.
