This stunning beach location is in an area of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and boasts the largest sandy beach in South Devon.  One of the most popular spots to learn to surf and for windsurfing.

Our seating (indoors or outside) offers amazing views across to the iconic Burgh Island and Bantham. It’s the perfect spot for breakfast a fully English or our new fluffy pancake stack with maple sauce with a fresh artisan bean cappuccino or latte roasted to perfection by Craft House coffee. Or why not try our delicious Venus-style ‘fish n fries’ with a delicious European wine or pint of local Bays Brewery beer?

Our menu includes some perfect Winter warming dishes. Home made dahl soup is one of many products which are available gluten free and vegetarian (vegan). Venus beef and veg chilli return not only offered with rice, cheddar cheese (vgn available) onion bits and lime mayo but also now in a new burrito format.

We have other amazing dishes. The ever popular Venus Tacos sees the addition of a homemade pea & mint falafel version - not only great for vegetarians but also for those looking for a non fried tasty option.  After a long absence, our MSC sustainable sole fillets also make a come back in the Tacos section.

The Breakfast Burrito (egg, cheese, bacon and hash brown with sriracha sauce) has been joined by a plant based one with scrambled tofu, vegan sausages, Cathedral City grated dairy free cheese, hash brown and sriracha. New this winter is a spicy tuna burrito made with dolphine safe tuna, black beans, turmeric rice, cheddar, sriracha and mayonnaise.

Our breakfast menu has undergone a face lift with the addition of scrambled tofu and baked red pappers on the veggie dishes. New this Winter is a bacon cheese corissant and a pancake stach with maple sauce. All of our breakfast baps are available all day joining our gluten free sausage and bacon sandwich in an amazing gluten free sourdough.

 With acres of perfect sand, the unique Burgh Island and spectacular views across some of the best South Hams coastline, Bigbury-on-Sea offers the ideal family day out.
