Hi guys, another great week's holiday at Goodrington and Venus was as good as ever. Great food awesome staff. Just one area for improvement, the beer glasses seemed alittle greasy and had bubbles all the way up the side when poured. Could do with a splash of renovate in the glass washer maybe? Already booked for.next year. Can't wait. Hope Venus has a great year

I was introduced to Venus by a friend yesterday. It was a rainy day and the beach front cafe was warm and so wonderfully friendly. The staff are outstanding and so proud of this company. The coffee was delicious and their house made treats were the absolute best!! I highly recommend this cafe. I came back the next day and just loved it.

Wow best vegan tofu beetroot burger I have ever tasted. My partner had prawn tacos and his was amazing too. Friendly service and you can tell the food is made really well.

This is a really special little place .. we visited four times, over a three day period, because:
* It's in a perfect location for the beach at Bigbury-on-Sea and has outdoor seating that overlooks the beach/ sea (it has indoor seating too for when the weather is bad)
* It has a wide range of things on the menu to choose from
* It has a strong focus on sustainability and minimising its environmental impact
* It has very friendly and efficient staff! Jack served us during most of our visits and took the time to chat with us and generally make us feel welcome. In addition to lunch there on one of the days, we also had coffees, milkshakes and ice creams - the vibe is so relaxed that it is a hard place to tear yourself away from. We live by the sea (in a different area) and visit a lot of beach cafes .. all of them have really nice aspects, but Venus is something else!
We have also been to Venus at Broadsands which is also brilliant.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, great atmosphere and the food was really delicious. You can tell it's made from really high quality ingredients and it's fantastic there's such a commitment to sustainability. Teignmouth's all the better for having this cafe. We had a great time with our family and will definitely be back.

This little cafe is "Brilliant", the staff are great, friendly couldn't do more for you. The food especially the breakfast the best I've ever had and believe me I have had hundreds. They even looked after my dog with treats and fresh water and offered different natural snacks for him - ooo and the hot chocolate, thumbs up

Well set out restaurant with great views.
The staff were lovely and the food was very tasty indeed.

Just came back from my family's holiday to Bigbury and I just wanted to say how delicious the food was when we decided to visit, was sooo good, we actually visited twice during the week stay! Food was 10 out of 10! Good choice of options for food, really well priced too! Staff were by far the most polite and helpful staff, always happy to help and always had a smile on their cafes! The most beautiful backdrop as while whilst munching our yummy food!
Please pass on my praise to the staff at Bigbury on Sea! Hope to see you guys again!

Family of three eaten here 4 times and been for a drink at the end of the day three times this year and as many last year. It isn't the cheapest place but when you factor in the location, the company ethos, the ingredients and the food. Bargain. Broadsands. Don't tell everyone.
