The stunning Broadsands beach offers the best beach in the Bay. As a bay within a bay, Broadsands is safe for swimming and shallow waters. We offer a menu for all tastes. Yummy breakfasts and all day baps and breakfast burritos, whole baked locally caught fish, grass fed Devon beef and home made English chicken breast burgers. Venus Tacos are delicious, served with Asian salad and sriracha mayo.
We have some terrific gluten free and plant based options - black bean and tofu burgers and a fabulous home made dahl soup. These are available gluten free or with artisan sourdough bread. Our home made Venus chilli (beef and veg) are back and now availabale in a burrito format is proving really popular - tasty, spicy and easy to eat.
Broadsands offers whole oven baked locally caught fish every day - mackerel or Torbay sole. Served with wakame salad and home made bubble and squeak.
Broadsands is one of Torbay's best loved seaside destinations with spectacular views of the two Brunel steam-railway viaducts across the bay – make sure you wave to the passengers en route to Dartmouth, Churston or Goodrington. The sheltered bay attracts both locals and visitors whatever your age or agility. With its calm and crystal-clear water, the beach is perfect for bucket & spade family days out, plus year-round water sports available for hire.

You’ll be spoilt for choice as all our seating offers outstanding views of the Jurassic coastline reaching over to Torquay and beyond.
There is plenty of onsite parking and your four-legged friends will find a warm welcome and a dog treat from our canine-loving team. We even have a dog menu offering nutritious and luxurious all natural chews and some stunning dog ice cream.
